The Belonging Summit is a Bay Area gathering for people working to build schools, workplaces, and communities where everyone can fully belong and contribute.
Why this gathering?
Belonging does not happen by accident. It is shaped by the way we design learning environments, workplaces, services, relationships, and communities.
The Belonging Summit brings together people who do not often have the opportunity to learn and build alongside one another. Through stories, practical learning, youth and lived-experience leadership, and cross-sector collaboration, participants will explore what belonging looks like in practice—and what we can create together.
Why it’s different:
The Belonging Summit will be the major annual gathering and public on-ramp for an ongoing, cross-sector Belonging Collaborative—not a one-day conference that disappears when the program ends.
Participants should leave with practical ideas, useful relationships, relevant resources, and clear ways to continue the work. The Collaborative will continue building relationships, shared resources, focused working groups, partner gatherings, and selected community-based pilots before and after the Summit.
